The Investec Super Rugby competition is unlike any other pitting the strongest rugby-playing nations against each other in 15-team tournament. Regional teams from Australia, South Africa and New Zealand go head to head, playing exciting, expansive rugby that thrills the crowds.

The New Zealand Rugby Union owns five of the 15 teams - the Blues, Chiefs, Hurricanes, Crusaders and the Highlanders - and New Zealand teams have dominated the competition since its inception in 1996.
